Update** Jan. 06, 2009:

   Still no good news for La Crosse County Trails. Instead of much needed snow, we received freezing rain last weekend. Everything is icy and treacherous.
   The snowmobile fatalities have been too frequent this season so far. There have been 13 in Wisconsin as of this writing, including one in Monroe County. Please be a responsible and careful rider.

Update** Jan. 02, 2009 

All Trails in LaCrosse County are CLOSED due to lack of snow in some areas.
Groomer operators have been out this week. We have found lots of snow in the valleys and
wooded areas. However most fields and parts of the LaCrosse River trail are covered
with ice or completely bare.

The club trail in southern LaCrosse County from Hwy M to Billys Lantern (formerly Shorties) will be closed due to bridge repairs.

All State trails will be ready once we receive more snow .

Update** Dec. 27, 2008: 

The extreme warm temps have closed the trails, hopefully we will get more snow soon so the trails can reopen.  Think snow and do your snow dance.

As a reminder, please stay on the trails, and respect our landowner's property.  Remember that they are allowing us to use their land and if we abuse the privilege, trails will be closed.
